How to work with us

We get daily requests to provide content and add links to external sites.

If you wish to work with us on a content basis, here's how it works:

We are an education and information site which provide content aimed at people buying, selling, investing, renting or renovating in the UK only.

The information we provide is given to customers free of charge. For us to provide this service we have to fund people to do the work, promotion of the website and of course all of the admin that goes along with running a business.

The model we have created helps to educate consumers primarily through easy to read checklists along with educational articles, videos, useful calculators etc.

If you would like to work with us you would need to support a checklist on a relevant property topic and this would allow you to link back to your site.

In addition to the checklist you will also be able to add up to four educational articles, videos etc per year.

Here are some examples:
Financing a buy to let checklist and why we work with Coreco

Storing your belongings checklist and why we work with Big Yellow
Help to buy a new build checklist

In return, your checklist and articles will be promoted via our newsletter (over 5,500 members) and it will also appear on our front page at least once a year. In addition, we will promote your content through our extensive social media via Kate Faulkner and Propertychecklists.co.uk (we reach in excess of 10,000 people).

To fund supporting your company and your content, we need £299 plus VAT per year.

We do need to do due diligence on any company we work with and prefer companies who have achieved the highest standards within their industry (for example, a letting agent would need to be ARLA or RICS members) and there would need to be a free complaints system which is ideally delivered through independent redress (eg TPOS, FCA).

Unfortunately, if you just want to provide free content and links back without investing in consumer education with us, we are unable to work with you.

If you would like to talk about a checklist and supporting our consumer education programme, or indeed need help with your own content strategy and delivery, we work with many of the top property companies in the UK.
