The first properties at Legal & General Homes’ development are now available for purchase. Buckler’s park is located across more than 250 acres in Crowthorne, Berkshire.

Properties vary from one-bedroom apartments to four-bedroom homes so the development will appeal to first-time buyers through to those looking for a family home.

Homes are now on sale in the Woodland Edge area of the development, located alongside the new 100-acre Buckler’s Country Park, which features ponds, pathways and woodland for residents as well as wildlife.

On-site amenities:

  • Shops

  • Community centre

  • Tennis courts

  • Care home

  • New site for Crowthorne Church of England Primary School

  • Community garden with allotments, beehives and compost bins

Every home at the development is built to London Design Standards, 10% larger than similar homes in the area. There are no hidden costs and the properties come with a Hive Smart thermostat as well as choice of interior design options included with the purchase prices.

At Woodland Edge, the available homes will include:

  • One-bedroom apartments with generous open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas; at up to 584 sq ft in size.

  • Spacious two-bedroom homes, several of which feature a private garage

  • Detached, semi-detached and terraced three-bedroom homes set over two or three storeys. The three-storey homes also feature a separate study/nursery, along with a private terrace on the uppermost floor to complement the master bedroom with en suite bathroom

  • Three varieties of four-bedroom home, from 1,484 to 1,748 sq ft; each featuring a large kitchen/dining area as well as separate study and living rooms

  • All homes come with private parking

John Allan, managing director at Legal & General Homes, says: “We want to build fantastic homes and communities which really enhance the wellbeing of everyone that lives in them and Buckler’s Park is designed with this at its heart.  We've really thought about how people use the spaces they live in and have made sure the homes and the development reflect this, from larger rooms and adequate storage to pedestrian and cycle-friendly paths throughout the site.”

When the development is finished, Buckler’s Park will provide 1,000 new homes not far from Bracknell, Reading and Wokingham. Crowthorne Station is a short drive and has links to Paddington Station, meaning residents could commute to London in less than an hour.
