Every month we track the performance of each of the 32 London boroughs to see:-

1. How are they performing this year versus last?
2. Is the growth/decline more or less than the long term average?
3. What and when was the highest house price growth ever?
4. How much did prices fall during the last recession?
5. Are current property values more or less than the 2007/08 peak?

Out of the 32 London boroughs, these tend to fall into five brackets ranngin from properties between £250k-£300K to those above £1,000,000 (Although this only includes Kensington and Chelsea).

The problem with looking at ‘averages’ at a high level is that property prices are so diverse from one street to the next, they are unlikely to make any sense to people locally. As such we look at data by town and city to gauge what variations there are across the country.
